The entire month of October is special as we take this time to be cognizant of the work that has been and still needs to be done with breast cancer prevention, treatments and other support to patients, survivors and their families.

This year, Lou, Babs & Moogs designated portions of sales on products in their POP CULTURE collection to benefit Pennies in Action (www.penniesinaction.org) in their search for a vaccine that would prevent this devastating disease. Word of our “WHAM! BAM! POW! HELP KNOCK OUT BREAST CANCER” program was spread through the donated work of PowerTech International and generously supported by our customers throughout the month.

Based on the enthusiastic response in store, next year’s Breast Cancer Month promotion will be expanded to include online purchases so everyone can find something great to purchase while contributing to a most worthwhile cause.
